The youngest spa in the Czech Republic, the Lednice Spa, was set right in the heart of the beautiful nature of the Lednice-Valtice area, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996. The Lednice Spa uses a natural healing spring for its treatment, iodine-bromine mineral water, whose composition resembles the "Dead Sea" and has excellent therapeutic effects. This unique tertiary healing spring is applied in the spa house in the form of baths. All parts of the Perla Spa House are wheelchair accessible and everything is under one roof.

Jihlava Zoo, the most visited tourist destination in Jihlava and the Vysočina region, invites you to discover rare and fascinating animal species. Currently, it is home to over 270 species of animals. We specialize in breeding both small and large cats, as well as primates, particularly tamarins and marmosets, with reptiles and amphibians also holding a significant place. In recent years, the zoo has gained a modern appearance thanks to the construction of new pavilions and attractive exhibits. In addition to its traditional program, the zoo offers a variety of events and activities to enrich your experience.
Silver house

In the burgher's house at 636/21 Masaryk Square, in the 13th century, the sound of the anvils and dies of the medieval royal mint sounded, in the 15th century there was a bakery. Now the Silver House provides the facilities for a teahouse and organization of Brána Jihlavy with the JAM and CDF studios. A music hall with a capacity of 50 seats and two smaller painted halls are used for social events. The exhibition in the basement of the house reveals the unique story of the discovery of the Jihlava mint. Guided tours take place here regularly on Saturdays.

The Jihlava underground

The Jihlava underground with a total length of 25 kilometers is the second largest in the Czech Republic. Corridors were carved into the rock in several levels during the 14th to 16th centuries, up to a depth of 14 meters. They served as cellars for storing food and goods, during the Second World War partly also as an anti-aircraft shelter. The greatest rarity and mystery of the underground is the corridor, the walls of which glow greenish when illuminated. Collectors and a civil defense shelter from the last century are part of the underground.

Guided tours and walks convey to the public the cultural heritage of the former royal city. Visitors are introduced to e.g. with the fates of Jihlava's First Republic villas, allow them to look into the high halls of Renaissance patrician houses, learn about the historical development of the historic center of the city, explore the interiors of Jihlava's churches or reveal the hidden secrets of normally inaccessible interiors. There are over 20 thematic circuits on offer and in 2024 the total participation was over 7,000 people.
World of Wonders – the permanent exposition of Christmas decoration

The museum is in charge of the largest public collection of glass Christmas ornaments in the world, a collection that numbers more than 15 thousand pieces. However, the collection also takes in contemporary production and historic ornaments from the beginning of the 20th century, the First Republic and the socialist era. The exposition tells the story of the journey taken by Christmas ornaments to the promised land over the sea, the United States of America having been the most significant customer of these fragile goods. For this reason the exhibits are installed in the shape of varied sea waves, there is also an ocean steamer or spectacular skyscrapers.

Jihlava Zoo is located near the city center, along the Jihlávka River, and is open 365 days a year. It breeds more than 260 exotic species of animals. It is divided into several expositions, according to the continent or region. Here you will find the African village of Matongo, a tropical or Asian pavilion, the island of Madagascar, the delta of the South American Paraná River, the Himalayas, a piece of the Malaysian landscape, the Japanese park of Hokkaido, an Australian farm, but also a forest trail and grandma's backyard. The zoo offers guided feeding and flight demonstrations of raptors and owls.
